A world-renowned soccer star, he rose to fame as a key player for FC Barcelona and as captain of Argentina’s national team. His incredible skills earned him the Ballon d’Or four times from 2009 to 2012. He also took home the Golden Ball Award at the 2014 and 2022 World Cups, leading Argentina to a victory in the 2022 tournament. In August 2021, he left FC Barcelona to join Paris Saint-Germain FC and later moved to Inter Miami CF in June 2023.
