The rapper is famous for his Carter albums. Back in 2009, he snagged four Grammys, including one for his hit “Lollipop.” Plus, he’s the big boss at Young Money Entertainment, the label he started in 2005.
At 12, he accidentally fired his mom’s 9mm gun. By 14, he quit school, despite being a top student, to chase his dream in music.
In 1997, he hopped on with Hot Boys, dropping the banger “Lollipop.” Then in 2010, during a year in the slammer for having his manager’s gun, he put out “I Am Not a Human Being.”
He married Antonia Carter on Valentine’s Day in 2004, but they called it quits in 2006. They share a daughter named Reginae. Later, he welcomed sons Dwayne III and Kameron with Sarah Vivian and Lauren London, respectively. He also has a son named Neal with singer Nivea. His relationship with model Denise Bidot ended in 2021.
