An actress and model, she gained recognition for her breakout role as Tomasin, a young Puritan girl, in the 2016 period horror film The Witch. Her performance earned critical acclaim, opening doors to roles in films like Morgan by Luke Scott and M. Night Shyamalan’s Split. In 2018, she starred in Thoroughbreds and later played a key role in The Menu in 2022.
She trained as a ballet dancer during her childhood and began modeling in her teenage years. Her acting journey started with her film debut in the 2014 satirical horror Vampire Academy.
She starred in Skrillex’s music video for the remix of GTA’s “Red Lips.” One of her standout roles is Beth Harmon in the award-winning miniseries The Queen’s Gambit. She also lent her voice to Peach in the animated film Super Mario Bros: The Movie.
The youngest of six, she was born to a Spanish-English mother and a Scottish-Argentine father. In 2021, she started dating singer Malcolm McRae, and they tied the knot in September 2023.
In The Witch, she played the daughter of Ralph Ineson’s character.
